сын устанавливал с обновлением до 10-ки...
Прошло полгода - просит ключ..

Запускаем активатор с повышенными правами.

Для активации офиса перезагрузка не нужна.
Идём проверять.

Данный акиватор великолепно активирует любую редакцию Windows, включая версии LTSB.

Версия Retail активируется точно также, без проблем.
Не надо конвертировать , всё на автомате.

Я еще вечерком поставлю О-365, отпишусь, удалось или нет его активировать

Поставил Office 365. Активировать удалось You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login.
kms-активатор не смог его побороть, или руки кривые и я не смог правильно его настроить.

Не знаю, смог бы он активировать просроченную контору, но установленную начисто активировал.
Устанавливал спецом  Office 365 Retail, чтобы проверка была максимально корректной.
После активации все запускается, никаких окон с просьбой ввести ключ больше не выскакивает

Обычный по умолчанию ОЕМ не смог победить контору 365
