Однажды, обходя свои владения, один российский фермер нашел четырех крошечных беспомощных котят у себя в сарае. Они были еще совсем маленькие и слепые и без должного ухода им суждено было погибнуть, поэтому фермер принял решение взять их с собой и ухаживать за ними, пока те не встанут на ноги.

Фермер думал, что подобрал котят, но когда они подросли, его ждал сюрприз

Несмотря на то, что внешне они выглядели, как котята обычной домашней кошки, все же они имели некоторые особенности окраса, которые заставили фермера обратиться к сотрудникам находившегося неподалеку Даурского заповедника. Там и определили, что на самом деле это котята манула — дикого лесного кота. Этот вид хоть и не на много больше обычной кошки, но все же имеет более коренастое телосложение и некоторые характерные особенности.

Сотрудниками заповедника было принято решение забрать котят к себе, где им подыскали две приемные мамы, которые приняли их как своих.

Весной они были выпущены снова и уже благополучно адаптировались к диким условиям.

Кстати... мой Пуншик пропал. Месяца 2-3 как. осенью. Очень надеюсь, что моего красавца все-таки украли, а не убили....

Не переживай. Коты(кошки) намного умнее собак. Может вернётся. Если кто другой не прикормил. Убивать котяр это грех. Убил бы за это.

Соседского Барсика (полубританца), которого я когда-то зимой выходила, когда соседи его выкинули помирать, застрелили из воздушки. Сосед нашел у себя на крыше сарая, с простреленым черепом

я его с пипетки кормила... взвешивала по 6 раз в сутки, проверяла - растет или нет... там такой красавец был
